Description | The objective of the project is to increase the capacity of the Town’s existing overloaded wastewater lagoons and improve treatment to meet current regulatory standards. The scope of work includes construction of two new lined storage cells with a total capacity of approximately 34,100m3, re-lining of the two existing wastewater lagoon cells, replacement of the two existing wastewater pumps with two new pumps each capable of pumping the projected peak wet weather flow, and replacement of the existing asbestos cement force main. |
