Description | The main objective of this project is to construct a new sanitary sewer pipeline from the Town to its wastewater lagoon. The original pipeline is nearing its design life as it was constructed in 1912. The new pipeline proposed will provide redundancy to the aging system and also provide mitigation against large rainfall events. A major rainfall occurred on June 12/2022 that caused basement sewer backups in 26 homes. The new sewer pipeline will provide additional capacity to the system and minimize asset in mitigating future basement sewer backups. |
