The gradual opening of the Hungarian- Serbian border can have disadvantages, but also gives a chance for the craftsmen who live there. We would like to achieve that they become the winner of this process. We would to develop a model, which can be used in other multicultural environments as well. Planned activities of the project: Ø making a survey and a database about the active craftsmen and qualification areas; Ø strategic foundation and elaboration the of a development model; Ø establishment of a collective product development program which reaches over the borders; Ø transaction of marketing processes; Ø propagation of the model. Most of the craftsmen are not able to get their products on the market. As a result of this project: Ø We will give a clear picture of the craftsmen who work in the region along the border; Ø We will start to develop a network with common image; Ø Within the network experiences will be shared, and the methods will be taken over; Ø Within the network new project ideas will be developed; Ø The strategy of getting the products to the market will be established, and the system of the product marketing will be launched; Ø With the help of propagation of the traditional professions the capacity of manpower will increase, new workplaces will be established.
