Description | The Greenwich Department of Public Works will begin a traffic safety improvement project at the intersection of Valley Road and Nassau Place. The project aims to shorten pedestrian crossing distances, improve visibility, calm traffic along Valley Road, and enhance overall safety. Planned upgrades include curb extensions and installation of Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFBs) to support safer pedestrian crossings. Construction is expected to take approximately two months starting the week of April 13, 2026. A similar project is planned for Clapboard Ridge Road and Grahampton Lane. |
