Traffic Way Bridge Replacement Project

The City of Arroyo Grande is undertaking the replacement of the Traffic Way Bridge, a major road construction project described as the biggest in the city's history. The bridge, located just off West Branch Street, is a critical infrastructure link for 11,000 vehicles daily, connecting the Village area to the southwest portion of the city including Arroyo Grande High School. The project involves the complete removal of the existing bridge, causing a portion of Traffic Way to close to traffic and necessitating temporary traffic flow changes in the surrounding area.
