Development of a major new primary aluminium smelting facility with integrated anode plant at the Nag Hammadi complex in Upper Egypt. The project aims to add 300,000 tonnes per annum of primary aluminium production and 150,000 tonnes per annum of anode production, nearly doubling the existing site capacity to approximately 600,000 tpa. Trafigura is involved as a minority equity investor, debt provider, feedstock supplier, and long-term offtake partner.
