Objectives - Expanding the offer of free-of-charge practice-oriented and multi-lingual training of judges and lawyers on the use of EU procedural law instruments for cross-border collection of debt (Regulation No. 861/2007; Regulation No. 1896/2006); - Facilitating practitioners self-learning through video lectures in 7 EU official languages and 1 casebook drafted in English; - Removing linguistic barriers related to relevant legal terminology through training; - Creating a network of trainers among project partners in Member States and candidate States; - Promotion of mutual trust in the administration of justice among Member States. Activities - 24 seminars and a webinar offered free of charge, by training teams of academics in 7 EU official languages and Albanian; - Recording, editing and free-of-charge streaming of 25 video lectures in 7 EU official languages and Albanian; - Drafting of 1 casebook in English; - Cross-border exchange of trainers; - Widespread dissemination of videos and casebook designed to facilitate self-learning. Type and number of persons benefiting from the project - All in all 240 judges and 240 lawyers will participate in the seminars (for each offered seminar up to 60 trainees); - 24 training seminars, 1 webinar, offered free of charge, in 7 Member States and 1 candidate State; - More than 10,000 visitors on project website. Expected results The practitioners trained through training/videos and casebook for self-learning will be able to; - Properly apply Regulation No. 861/2007; - Properly apply Regulation No. 1896/2006; - Practice those instruments effectively both in their native language and in English; - Transpose good practices. Type and number of deliverables to be produced - Questionnaires (1 needs assessment; 4 feedback); - 1 case book; - 25 video lectures; - 24 training materials packages in 8 languages; - Project website.
