Description
Description | Albania's economic development is suffering from a substantial shortage of skilled workers. There is a paradoxical situation of high (youth) unemployment, while at the same time companies urgently need qualified workers. The project improves the labor market relevance of vocational training and thus the employability of graduates of the Multifunctional Centre (MFC) Kamza. The school is a model in Albania with regard to labor market-relevant vocational training offers and the concept is to be rolled out nationwide. The project finances the expansion of the school campus, modern equipment and advice in order to improve the quality and quantity of the training offered at the MFC Kamza. The recipient of the funds and project partner is the Ministry of Finance and Economy (MoFE). The target group are young people and young adults who take part in MFC Kamza training programs. In addition, teachers, trainers and managers at the MFC Kamza benefit from the project measures. The private sector also benefits indirectly from the improved training through access to more skilled workers. |
