The global objective is to have a better understanding of the issues related to the physical integration of South America. Specifically the project will: strengthen CEBRI to act as the central resource for studies, debate and reflection on topics related to the proposed physical integration of South America, and; set-up and implement integrated research networks that will discuss topics related to the physical integration of South America, specifically those that can have an impact on the speed of the integration such as sub-regional and hemispheric integration, international trade perspectives and the strategic policy framework of South America;
