The training of the Agricultural Professional Patent (BPA) is an adapted response, allowing to acquire the necessary bases for mastering the professional actions of agriculture and/or livestock, with the specificities related to Rodrigues Island and thus obtain the authorisation to exploit the land and create employment. Therefore, in the context of inter-island cooperation and the revitalisation of economic ties, during an official meeting, the Regional Assembly of Rodrigues requested the Centre for Professional Training and Agricultural Promotion of Saint-Joseph (CFPPA-St-Joseph), in view of the quality of its missions in agriculture and livestock farming, in order to establish a sustainable and effective partnership in the fields of agricultural training and education: — agricultural education and vocational training, — the social and vocational integration of young people and adults into the agricultural sector, — the agricultural development of Rodrigues Island.
