The training of the Agricultural Professional Aptitude Certificate (CAP Agricole) is an adapted response, allowing to acquire the necessary bases for mastering the professional actions of agriculture and/or livestock, with the specificities related to Rodrigues Island and thus obtain the authorisation to exploit the land and create employment. Therefore, in the framework of the cooperation, during an official meeting, the Regional Assembly of Rodrigues requested the Centre for Professional Training and Agricultural Promotion of Saint-Joseph (CFPPA-St-Joseph), due to the quality of its missions in agriculture and livestock, in order to establish a sustainable and effective partnership in the fields of agricultural training and education: — agricultural education and vocational training, — the social and vocational integration of young people and adults into the agricultural sector, — the agricultural development of Rodrigues Island. In addition, the operation aims to develop professional networks promoting exchanges, the sharing of knowledge, know-how and skills that are mutually beneficial to Réunion and Rodrigues, but also to open up to the international level through the training and pooling of experts in the agricultural field.
