However, they don’t always apply to the soil and climate context of the French-Belgian cross-border region. This is why local fruit growers have expressed the need for the solutions to be tested first in the region. In certain cases, this also means new research on subjects specific to the cross-border region. This is why the partners have brought together producers and technical bodies from both regions in a network to exchange and promote competences, experiences and innovations relating to fruit-growing issues in the cross-border region. |
