Description | Ameristar Rail is planning a new private train route called the Transcontinental Chief that will connect Los Angeles to New York City in under 72 hours. It will also provide a rolling rest stop for truckers by allowing them to load trailers onto the train and rest onboard during their required breaks. The service plans to transport passengers, trucks, cars, motorcycles, RVs, and buses, with future expansions to cities like the Grand Canyon and Chicago. |
