Transcontinental Chief Train

AmeriStarRail, based in Delaware, proposed a train called the Transcontinental Chief that will take passengers from Los Angeles to New York City in just 72 hours. The train is proposed to replace existing routes between Southern California and New York with stops in Chicago or Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. It will feature flat beds for trucks to roll on and off, serving as a "rolling rest stop" to relieve pressure on highway systems.
