This micro-project consists of developing three cross-border cycle and pedestrian routes on the theme of energy transition on the French-Belgian cross-border territory covering the towns of Roubaix-Tourcoing-Wattrelos-Halluin in France and Mouscron-Estaimpuis in Belgium. The objective is to build cross-border routes that will take visitors to discover landscapes, infrastructures and initiatives showing that an energy transition is underway in these territories. By discovering renewable energy production units, efficient and energy-saving buildings, and citizen transition initiatives, visitors will be made aware of the challenges of the energy transition and the fight against climate change on a local and cross-border scale. An explanatory booklet (paper and digital format), including maps and illustrations, will enable any citizen to follow these routes independently.
