TransHelp Life-Cycle Bus Replacement Project

• The project involves the replacement of existing specialized transit buses, which provide accessible transit for customers in Brampton, Mississauga, and Caledon, in order to continue providing efficient and reliable specialized transit services. • The project scope includes procurement of 40 new, specialized (eight metre, high-floor, propane gas with side mounted lift) buses to replace similar existing rolling stock assets that are at the end of their planned service life. The new buses can carry up to 6 passengers using wheelchairs. • The project will result in improved capacity, quality, safety and access to the public transit system in the Region of Peel, Ontario.
