Description | Capital Improvements at Transit Facilities. Projects include: Transit Parking Lot (north end) asphalt removal, storm drainage, grading, repaving (240K) & Parking Lot lighting (60K), Replace Three old panel type overhead doors with High Speed Doors ($120K) reducing heat loss and bus entry and exit times, Replace 3 aged Transit Bldg. Rooftop HVAC Units (80K), Bus Storage Garage Lighting Upgrades (55K) - replace old fixtures with energy efficient units. Driver Washroom Renewal (65K) including replacing fixtures, lighting and interior finishes, Interior re-painting of bus garage and mechanic shop area (28K) that improves aesthetics and light levels in the bus garage and mechanic area. Request for extension up to March 31, 2019. An extension to the completion date is requested due to project complexity, procurement timelines, consultant/contractor availability and constraints of a limited construction season. |
