Transit Facility Improvements

This project is to complete a number of deferred capital projects at the City of Thunder Bay Transit Garage. The project spans three years, the first year work includes the replacement of a section of roof; year two includes the replacement of the diesel exhaust and makeup air system; and, year three includes the replacement of the lubrication lift and repairs/replacement of asphalt /concrete approach aprons into the garage. The project will result in reduced operating costs of the Transit Garage, extends the useful life of the asset, and assists in the seamless delivery of Transit Services to the public.
