Description | The project consists of rehabilitating the main terminal and the installation of six new solar-powered bus shelters on inter-urban routes in the community of Chatham-Kent. The project scope includes rehabilitating the open-air main terminal in downtown Chatham to include a fully-accessible enclosed environment, including upgraded message boards and kiosks. In addition, approximately six new solar-powered bus shelters will be provided on existing inter-urban routes. Overall, the project contributes to improved capacity and quality of, and, access to public transit infrastructure in Chatham-Kent, Ontario. |
