Description | The highway is located to the east of the city of Porto, between Vila Real and Bragança and is 194 km long operating under a mixed toll system. It came into service in 2013 for a term of 30 years.The project includes 132 km of new construction, with 24 junctions, 78 overpasses/flyovers and 137 underpasses. It also includes a cut-&-cover 65 m long tunnel and 17 viaducts, among which it is important to highlight the Tinhela Bridge, which is 2,800 m long and has a maximum span of 116 m, and the Corgo Viaduct, a 2,980 m long cable-stayed bridge with a maximum height of 160 m. |
