Description
Description | Over the 3 years, our project will focus on promoting Europass among our beneficiaries, composed of citizens from various skill sets including low-skilled, training centres, schools, higher education institutions and enterprises, thus enabling users to make their skills and qualifications as transparent as possible and easily understood in Europe through Europass. In line with the priorities set out in the European Skills Agenda, our project will strive to help individuals develop more and better skills and put them to their benefit and use. As per actions highlighted for the European Skills Agenda, particularly Action 10 and Action 11, the MT NEC will inform the general public about the importance of micro-credentials and the features offered by the Europass platform thus contributing to the targets set by the Skills Agenda regarding participation in learning of adults, low-qualified adults, jobseekers, and the share of adults with basic digital skills. In line with the European Pillar of Social Rights Action Plan, pillar principle 1 and 4, Malta will emphasise the importance of making one’s skills well known, therefore directly supporting the EU cooperation on skills. This will be done through providing direct information in collaboration with schools and Higher Education Institutions to our stakeholders. Information sessions will take place as direct sessions with students in these cohorts and also in career fairs. There will also be specific sessions on Europass CV writing and the use of the Europass platform. The MT NEC will ensure that there will be collaboration and synergic efforts with the Maltese Euroguidance Centre and the EQF national contact point towards achieving the policy objectives of the European Skills Agenda and the European Pillar of Social Rights Action Plan. This fosters continuity and an integrated approach to the policy goals and prevents duplication in the activities planned. |
