Description

The Public Affairs Section (PAS) of the U.S. Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan invites all eligible organizations (see Section IV for Eligibility Requirements) to submit a proposal for an assistance award to provide administrative services for PAS travel/exchange programs. Public and private non-profit organizations or consortia of eligible organizations meeting the provisions described in Internal Revenue Code section 501(c)(3) may submit proposals to cooperate with the PAS in the administration and implementation of the following program components: 1) Supporting U.S. and internationally-based Subject Mater Experts (SME) visiting Afghanistan to participate in PAS programs, 2) Supporting U.S.-based and internationally-based Subject Mater Experts (SME) as they travel around Afghanistan to participate in PAS programing, and 3) Supporting Afghan program participants as they travel within Afghanistan and/or abroad, either to the U.S. or to other countries. A successful proposal will demonstrate past performance providing exchange/travel facilitation services in Afghanistan, the United States, and other countries.
