Description
Description | The Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation plan to establish the Tri-Cities' first tribal casino near Pasco's King City Truck Stop. The project includes a 175,000-square-foot casino with 2,000 slots and 30 table games, dining, a 200-room hotel, a 114,400-square-foot event center and central plant, and 1,500 parking spots. The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) has released a 323-page roadmap to guide the creation of an environmental impact statement (EIS) as part of the federal review process. The EIS will consider four alternatives, including the project as proposed, a reduced intensity casino, no gaming facilities with retail warehouses, and no development. |
