Description | The project involves the development, construction and operation of 50MW Tricom Thatta District Onshore Wind Farm, located on a 347-acre land in Sindh province’s Jhimpir wind corridor, Thatta district, Pakistan. The project is part of a program to build six wind power projects in Pakistan, named the Super Six. The project will be developed by Lucky Textile Mills (51%) and Lucky Energy (49%), wholly owned by YB Holdings (Yunus Brothers Group). The project cost is $ 63.91 million with debt and equity contributions of $51.12 million and $12.79 million, respectively. IFC provided $ 25.56 million, Bank Al Habib and Allied Bank provided $12.78 million each.
