Description | Kinder Morgan is continuing construction on the approximately $1.8 billion Trident Intrastate Pipeline, a roughly 219-mile, 2 Bcf/d project designed to provide natural gas transportation service from Katy, Texas, to the industrial corridor near Port Arthur, Texas. Construction activities include pipe stringing and mainline welding across multiple counties in Texas. The first phase is expected to be placed in service in the first quarter of 2027, with the second phase in the fourth quarter of 2028. |
