Owned by Ambler Metals LLC, a 50/50 joint venture between Trilogy Metals Inc. and South32 Ltd., the project has initiated federal permitting starting with a Clean Water Act Section 404 permit application filed in April 2026. The project includes a $35 million fully financed 2026 field program for geotechnical and hydrogeological drilling to support mine design and permitting. The project aims to address the U.S. copper supply gap and is part of a multi-generational district development strategy. |
