The project includes the construction of a second commercial fuel fabrication facility (TX-2) and a dedicated research and development center (TX-L) adjacent to the first facility (TX-1), which is currently under construction. The campus aims to establish domestic commercial-scale manufacturing and research capabilities for TRISO-X's proprietary TRISO fuel, supporting approximately 55 Xe-100 reactors and creating over 1,000 permanent jobs. |
