Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) Project

planned

The Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) project is a transit route intended to connect Azerbaijan and its Nakhchivan exclave through the south of Armenia. The project involves building a railway line of Russian standard to connect seamlessly with the Azerbaijani line and aims to facilitate cargo transit from Central Asia to Europe. The project was preceded by two years of work within the Russia-Azerbaijan-Armenia format and the trilateral working group co-chaired by the deputy prime ministers of the three countries. However, the project faces challenges including geopolitical tensions, infrastructure compatibility, and frozen cooperation from Armenia.
