Truro Amateur Athletic Club Multi-use Sport Facility Revitalization and Relocation of Senior Baseball Facility

The full scope of the project would see the current TAAC Grounds, located at 57 Golf Street, Truro be upgraded and split into two different locations. The first phase of the project is to relocate the senior baseball facilities to 30 Argus Drive, Truro. The new facility will see the current baseball diamond upgraded to a senior sized, championship quality baseball field. The second phase of the project includes the refit of the existing TAAC grounds (57 Golf Street) to include a multi-sport, all weather field and synthetic 8 lane track with regulation throwing areas. Creation of the proposed facilities will improve access for community residents and will increase the quality of cultural, recreational, and community infrastructure available in Truro and the wider community of Colchester. Both facilities will be developed under Universal design principles and the facility will be available for free public use as well as organized programming. The project is located within walking distance to downtown making it increasingly accessible for all.
