Description

Description

This project will take place in the municipality of Clarence-Rockland, Ontario. The project consists of making safety and accessibility upgrades to the grounds of the Tucker House Renewal Centre. The scope includes: adding 2 fire-resistant doors and other fire prevention measures to the existing barn structure; adding 50m of durable driving surface to the existing parking facilities to create a safe space for school buses to turn around; renovating the interior of the pavilion building by building an access ramp, adding siding, and adding 38x32ft of concrete flooring to the existing pavilion structure; and reconstructing/renovating washroom buildings and pool house buildings. The Tucker House Renewal Centre is a not-for-profit that focuses on environmental learning and promotes sustainable living through interactive ecological programming for youth and adults. The Project will result in improved access and/or quality of community, cultural, and/or recreation infrastructure by ensuring that buildings are in good condition and better enabling programs to be delivered in a safe and accessible environment.
