Description	Tuen Mun Bypass ("TMB") is a strategic highway connecting Tuen Mun-Chek Lap Kok Tunnel and Yuen Long Highway (near Lam Tei Quarry). The objectives of the project are to enhance the strategic road network in the Northwest New Territories ("NWNT") and alleviate the traffic congestion along some local roads in Tuen Mun. Upon commissioning, TMB can divert traffic away from the road network in Tuen Mun, thus releasing the capacity of the existing roads, especially Tuen Mun Road (Fu Tei and Town Centre Sections) and Wong Chu Road, to support various proposed developments in Tuen Mun West and the NWNT.
