Tunisia - BFPME: Boosting Private Sector Development Through Small and Medium Enterprise Creation and Expansion

The project to strengthen its institutional capacities and stimulate private sector development through the creation and expansion of SMEs in Tunisia, implemented by the Banque de financement des petites et moyennes entreprises (BFPME), obtained financing from the African Development Bank Group through the Fund for Assistance to the African Private Sector (FAPA). The project has two components. The first part is related to Consultant services including the following points: (i) Strengthening the skills of BFPME staff; (ii) Creation of a "sectoral studies" database to improve the quality of business plans for various sectors or industries; (iii) Advice and technical support for SMEs and high-potential companies experiencing difficulties; (iv) Preparation of the report on evaluation and completion results; and (v) Project audit. The second component concerns Services other than consultancy services, including Communication and Awareness.
