Tunisia - Souk At-Tanmia 

Souk At-Tanmia (a market for development) is the largest known mobilization of Partners in support to entrepreneurship and job creation in Tunisia. Established by the African Development Bank (ADB), it features 19 international and local partners to promote employment in Tunisia by: (i) identifying, through a highly competitive process, innovative grass-roots activities of young entrepreneurs and civil society organizations, (ii)_ raising and distributing ‘seed’ funding to them in the form of grants to support the beneficiaries equity contribution; (iii) providing a comprehensive mentoring program to support the funded projects; (iv) leveraging additional resources through the local Banking systems (v) promoting the visibility of potential projects for further support by the Tunisian government, the African Development Bank and/or other partners. The grant ranges from 10,000 DT to 30,000 DT; which can be used either to fully fund a project, or as personal contribution to leverage more funding in the banking sector.
