Tunisia - Support project for the General Control of Finance (PACGF)

The Support project for the General Control of Finance (PACGF) is part of the Bank's efforts to improve the transparency and performance of the use of public funds, through the optimization of deadlines and the improvement of the quality of audits of development projects in Tunisia, including audits of Bank projects because the CGF is responsible for carrying out audits of Bank public sector projects. For the 2022 fiscal year, 25 Bank projects will be audited by the CGF. It concerns a central and structuring intervention which will enable this public finance control body to fully carry out its mission to improve its performance and contribute to strengthening transparency and the fight against corruption in the management of public finances. The Transparency and General Financial Control Support Project (PAT-CCGF) is made up of three complementary components, namely: i) support for capacity building in control, support for improvement of the digital environment and support for project management.
