The projects will increase Fortescue's total solar capacity in the region to 1.4GW and support the company's target to eliminate fossil fuel use across its terrestrial iron ore operations by 2030. The Cloudbreak BESS will provide eight hours of storage capacity using 124 battery units integrated with the 190MW Cloudbreak solar farm. |
