The highway is located in Chiapas, Mexico and has length of 61.5KM. It will be expanded with the construction of three new lanes. The operating speed will be increased to more than 60 km / h to reduce travel times and reduce vehicle operating costs . Among other scopes of the work, it will be extended to a third lane in 29 kilometers to serve 21 conflict points, four bridges will be expanded, 9 PIVs modernized, three emergency ramps and the San Cristóbal junction. Ainda and construction group Aldesa will invest Ps$ 951 million ($43.3 million) in Concesionaria de Autopistas del Sureste (CAS). Ainda will hold 51% of the concessionaire and Aldesa, a 49% stake. Grupo Aldesa is now controlled by CRCC International Investment Group (CRCCII), a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Railway Construction Corporation Limited (CRCC). Total project cost is Ps$ 951 million ($43.3 million). Financial close was achieved on 13 August 2020. Construction started in December 2020.
