Description | FDOT in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the U.S. Department of Defense is improving SR 30 (US 98) through Tyndall Air Force Base (AFB) in Bay County. This project involves a one-mile segment of US 98 centered at the intersection of US 98 and Airey Avenue/Tyndall Drive at the Tyndall AFB main gate. The improvements will elevate the US 98 travel lanes above Airey Avenue/Tyndall Drive and Louisiana Avenue to separate Tyndall AFB base traffic from US 98 through traffic. Construction is currently estimated for completion in mid-2023. |
