Description

Description

Tyrone Pedestrian Bridge & Gateways: Shamrock Park; GA HWY 74, Castlewood Rd, Tryone Rd, Collinsworth/Palmetto Rd. Town of Tyrone, Fayette County, GA. This project involves three phases. Two phases are the replacement of the 127'x4' Shamrock Park Bridge and replacement/upgrade of 5 entrance signs and landscaping the town's entrances. The wooden bridge is part of a .75 mile multi-use trail, and replacement would make it 8' wide, which is ADA compliant. The town also would like to construct 4 monument-style gateway signs along major traffic corridors and an additional 6 post-mounted town limit signs along lower volume roads. The third phase is the pavement resurfacing of existing multi-use path in Shamrock park and on Castlewood Rd. This includes approximately 800 LF of asphalt multi-use trail in Shamrock Park and 1000 LF on Castlewood Rd, from Sandhill Dr to Senoia Rd. It will meet ADA requirements.
