Description | The project entails the construction, financing and operation of solar-plus-storage power plant, located in in Uberlandia, in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. The facility consists of a 300 kW solar installation and a 1 MW storage system. The latter will be built by local power utility Cemig in partnership with Grupo Algar. The developers of the initiative are Brazil’s Minas Gerais-based power company, Compañía Energética de Minas Gerais S.A. (CEMIG) and Brazilian renewable energy developer Alsol Energias Renováveis.
