Uganda - Health Sector Studies

The proposed project consists of five (5) studies that will enable the Bank Group to design a project that will best respond to the needs of the sector in the project areas. The rationale of the studies is to collect sufficient data to appraise the projects. The study comprise the following: i) Mbale Regional Hospital Rehabilitation (Phase II) ii) Jinja Regional Hospital Rehabilitation iii) Mbarara Regional Hospital Rehabilitation iv) 50 Health Centres Rehabilitation (North and Northeast Regions) v) Paramedical Training Institute at Gulu. The five studies will result in projects which will strengthen primary health care and the referral system in the project areas.
