Description | The project involved the development of an 8.4 MW hydropower project in Bukidnon. On October 2015, it was reported that borrower and UHPC Bukidnon Hydro Power I Corp, a wholly-owned unit of United Holdings Power Corp (UHPC) has reached financial closure with BDO Unibank Inc for a loan facility that would fund the development of a Php1.2bn hydropower project in Bukidnon. Project was to be financed through 30% equity and 70% debt (Php 840m). Detailed engineering design was also completed by Meadowland Developers Inc. For the EPC contract, the company has shortlisted four contractors: Sta. Clara International, JV Angeles Construction, Meralco Industrial Engineering Services Corp. (Miescor) and Phesco Inc. |
