Ulkatcho First Nation - Anahim Lake Solar PV and Energy Storage

The proposed project will build an off-reserve solar photovoltaic farm and battery storage facility at the Ulkatcho First Nation-owned mill site south of Anahim Lake. The project will reduce up to 70% of greenhouse gas emissions by generating clean electricity to displace the community’s diesel-generated power. The project works will include: - solar photovoltaic array with approximately 4.4 MW total capacity and associated mounting hardware and electrical components; - battery storage and supporting building and electrical components; - electrical system upgrades, as needed; - microgrid control system; and - site work, access roads/paths, mechanical, electrical, control/monitoring, fire management, security, signage, and other related works and appurtenances.
