This project consists of upgrade and modernisation of the existing electricity distribution network in the Uludag Elektrik Dagitim's (UEDAS) concession area, which includes Bursa, Balikesir, Canakkale and Yalova provinces of Turkiye. It involves procurement, installation, and operation of medium- and low-voltage overhead lines, underground lines, transmission connection lines and transformers. The total investment stands at $198 million, of which EBRD provides $28 million loan, another $28 million loan comes from AIIB, and $30 million loan is secured by FMO. The rest of the funding is covered by commercial banks and equity contribution. Uludag Elektrik Dagitim A.S. is the company, implementing the project, sponsored by Actis Long Life Infrastructure Fund (Actis) through the parent company ULUDAG Elektrik Dagitim ve Perakende Satis Hizmetleri A.S.
