This proposal aims to strengthen the position, scalability, and global reach of the Portuguese film company Uma Pedra No Sapato through the development, production, and distribution of high-quality independent audiovisual works. The slate includes four key projects for domestic and international markets. 1. FÚRIA (RAGE) - A feature-length fiction film directed by Basil da Cunha, co-produced in Portugal and Switzerland 2. ENTERREM-ME DE PÉ (BURY ME STANDING) - A feature-length fiction film directed by Leonor Teles, co-produced in Portugal, France, Brazil and Thailand. 3. FEMMES DE MÉNAGE - A feature-length fiction film directed by Ágata de Pinho, co-produced in Portugal and Luxembourg with the potential addition of France or Italy. 4. A COLÓNIA (SUMMER CAMP) - A feature-length fiction film directed by Marco Martins, co-produced in Portugal, Greece and France. With a view towards our special objective of supporting emerging talents in the industry, our slate includes the short fiction film ESTRELA CELESTE (CELESTIAL STAR) directed by Patricia Neves Gomes. With CE Media’s support, we will focus on intensive scriptwriting and creative development, participation in co-production markets, securing deals with co-producers and financiers, obtaining development and production funding, and implementing marketing strategies from the development stage. This slate will benefit writers, directors, and production company members while engaging a broad network of external professionals such as script consultants, location scouts, cinematographers, and marketing experts. We aim to advance these projects to production, delivery, and distribution stages with international collaborators. The development process is expected to yield 18 key deliverables, including final scripts, budgets, schedules, updated creative teams, financing plans, and secured support from national and international funding bodies.
