UNADILLA STREETSCAPE IMPROVEMENTS - PHASE II

This project will consist of the enhancement of a block along the east side of West Railroad Street, a block along Third Street and a block along Borum Street with streetscape improvements. Improvements will include: new sidewalks, benches, trash receptacles, bike racks, pedestrian lighting (with break away design) and street trees. Bump outs will be added at street corners. No changes will be made to the existing travel lane widths or location along West Railroad Street, but Third Street and Borum Street lane widths will be adjusted to a consistent 13' width with the centerline remaining in its current location. The existing speed limit along West Railroad, Third, and Borum Street is 30 mph; the design speed is also 30 mph. These improvements are the second phase of master plan improvements which will create improved pedestrian connections throughout greater Unadilla.
