The upgrades include new public seating, lighting, shade structures, landscaping, murals at gateway crosswalks, window graphics for vacant storefronts, a pop-up soccer pitch, digital screens for World Cup events, a stage with DJ and bistro seating, a restaurant buildout for Underground Diner, a pop-up storefront space, and two food truck sites. This is the first of four proposed phases to enhance and re-tenant Upper Alabama Street and Fountains Plaza at Underground Atlanta. |
