UNICEF Jordan, No Lost Generation

The project serves to continue UNICEF activities within the framework of the No Lost Generation approach in Jordan. The individual measures contribute to improving access to formal and non-formal education and child protection services (project goal). To this end, the German side is providing a financial contribution of EUR 17 million to UNICEF. The specific target group of the KWI contribution includes up to 45,000 needy children and young people in refugee camps and host communities. The implementation period is 13 months (beginning December 2016). The individual measures are based on the relevant sector chapters on education and social protection of the Jordan Response Plan (JRP) and the Jordan section of the Regional Refugee and Resilience Plan (3RP) and are specifically included in UNICEF's No Lost Generation strategy.
