Project objective Improving access to non-formal training and qualification opportunities for Lebanese and refugee young people and adolescents, as well as facilitating the transition between training and starting a career in order to improve the life prospects of the target group. Target group The project aims to finance non-formal vocational training measures for young Lebanese people and refugees (mainly from Syria, the Palestinian territories and Iraq). Measures The project includes training in non-formal vocational training, arranging paid internships (so-called work-based learning as part of cash-for-work assignments), teaching life skills, teaching basic reading and writing skills as well as advanced knowledge (IT, financial and language skills), and promoting the sustainability of the measures through follow-up courses, mentoring and start-up support. This phase of the project therefore builds on the content of the previous phase.
