Union Pacific Railroad Trail

The City of Henderson is seeking bidders to construct the north section of the Union Pacific Railroad Trail along the 5-mile right-of-way between Pecos Road and Acacia Park. The project will entail constructing an asphalt trail and amenities, including concrete flatwork, over four miles of 8-ft-tall steel security fencing, large-dia potable and reclaimed water line relocations, various flood control facilities, potable water systems, existing underground utility relocations, retaining walls, a soil nail retaining wall, two grade-separated road under crossings, a pedestrian trail bridge, five power service pedestals, electrical work, trail lighting and two packaged storm water lift stations.
