Union Street Watermain Rehabilitation and Extension

The project will rehabilitate sections of a watermain in Mississippi Mills, Ontario. The work will involve replacing approximately 590 metres of watermain and extending approximately 210 metres of watermain on Union Street to permit additional flow and add looping redundancy. The project will also realign 914 metres of sanitary and storm drain systems to accommodate the new watermain, as well as surface and roadway reinstatements. The project will increase access to potable water by increasing the reliability and capacity of the transmission infrastructure, and improve the community’s capacity to treat and manage waste/storm water.
